Leone, McDonnell & Roberts announce promotions

Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association, a leading CPA firm with offices throughout New Hampshire, is pleased to announce the promotions of Molly Burns and Robert Franger, both to Senior.

Molly, a chartered accountant in New Hampshire, joined the firm as an intern in 2017 and officially began her full-time career with the firm in 2019. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Masters of Science in Accounting. As a senior in both the Dover and Stratham offices, she focuses on individual tax preparation and non-profit auditing and enjoys the team approach that accompanies each client engagement.

A real team player, Molly helps recruit students and train new staff. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA).

Currently based in Dover, New Hampshire, Molly enjoys the great outdoors with her horses, visiting Nashville and adventuring to find cute cafes along the coast and beyond.

Rob Franger

Robert “Rob” Franger also started as an intern at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts before joining the company full-time in 2019. Earlier this year, he graduated from the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a master of science degree in accounting cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2018.

Rob, a Chartered Accountant, is based out of the Dover office and focuses primarily on personal and corporate tax services, non-profit audits and 403(b)/401(k) benefit plan audits.

Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA). Rob is also active in our student recruitment efforts and contributes by attending career development events and mentoring students interested in pursuing accounting as a career path.

Rob lives in Dover and keeps active by running and playing basketball.

Managing Partner Evan Stowell shared how proud he is of the two team members. “Molly and Rob are both valuable members of our team. Their hard work and dedication are integral to the growth and success of our company and we congratulate them on their many achievements.”

New Hampshire PBS announced that Kim Mooney, President of Franklin Pierce University, and Lisa Law, Chair of the Family Council of Law Family Companies, have been elected to the Board of Directors.

NHPBS announces 2 new board members

DURHAM — New Hampshire PBS announced that Kim Mooney, President of Franklin Pierce University, and Lisa Law, Chair of the Family Council of Law Family Companies, have been elected to the Board of Directors.

“President Mooney is a dynamic leader in education and will bring passion and a wealth of collaborative skills to the NHPBS Board,” said Peter Frid, President and CEO of NHPBS.

President Mooney is the first alumna and first woman to serve as President of Franklin Pierce University. Before becoming President in 2016, she served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs for eight years.

“I am honored to join the NHPBS Board of Directors. NHPBS’ mission to inspire spirits, connect communities, and celebrate New Hampshire aligns perfectly with Franklin Pierce University’s ethos. I look forward to supporting our joint efforts across the Granite State.”

President Mooney earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and earned her BA in Psychology and English from Franklin Pierce College, magna cum laude.

“We are also pleased to welcome Lisa Law to the board of NHPBS,” said Frid. “As a native of New Hampshire working in a 6th generation family business, she will lead with a calm and steady presence.”

“NHPBS has long had a reputation for providing excellent educational programs to the state of New Hampshire. I look forward to serving on this board and supporting its mission and values,” Law said.

In addition to her role on the family council, Law is a justice of the peace, corporate wellness coach, and feng shui consultant. Law graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Psychology. She has worked as a television producer and real estate agent. She founded her home design, staging and feng shui business in 2011 and has authored several spiritual books and articles.
