Mental Health Monday: Next month is Suicide Prevention Month, Fremont Counseling Services is hosting two events on September 8th
(Landers, Wyoming) – Mental Health Monday, the new weekly segment on KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM’s Coffee Time hosted by Vince Tropea, continued today with guest Clinical Director Becky Parker (MS, LPC). Fremont Advisory Service.
September is Suicide Prevention Monthand Parker stopped by to talk about Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Day, held September 8 at two locations in Fremont County.
In addition to details about the event, Becky provided some background on who she is and what she does at Fremont Counseling Services, what Counselors can do, what family and friends can’t, and the overall services and resources they offer.

The main goal of Mental Health Monday is to start an open dialogue about a range of mental health issues and how people are affected at local, state and national levels.
Guests include psychiatrists, psychologists, school/drug/grief counselors and all other professionals in the field, as well as testimonials from people affected by mental health issues such as students, veterans, first responders and many more.
