According to the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic recession have negatively impacted the mental health of tens of millions of Americans. In fact, a recent KFF tracking survey found that about 4 in 10 adults in the United States reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder, with young adults particularly affected by recent events.
