CBSE Psychological Counseling Facility celebrates its 25th year

CBSE Class 10 English exam was administered yesterday April 27, 2022. The Board has started offering free psychological counseling in two phases.

The standard has been followed since 1998. Students are advised before the exam and after the result.

His main goal was to keep the students in grades 10 and 12 of the CBSE-affiliated schools stress-free during the exam.


The Board offers counseling through telecounselling, which is provided voluntarily by the principals and trained counselors of CBSE affiliated schools via a toll-free number.

Advice is also provided through suggestions and information via IVRS or question-and-answer columns in national newspapers.

The board is also in contact with the students via social media.

Audio visual content is available via the ‘Advice’ microlink under the ‘Media and Public Relations’ tab on the Board’s website at www.cbse.nic.

Multimedia content on various topics such as B. specific learning disabilities, addictions, individual experiences of young people, aggression, depression, Internet addiction, exam stress and their solutions through Life Skills can also be viewed and heard.

Apart from that, podcasts are also available on various topics.

A dedicated tele-helpline facility was set up by the board even during Covid-19.



The free IVRS facility is available 24 hours a day by calling the Board of Directors toll free number 1800 11 8004.


The telephone consultation is a voluntary and free offer from the board of directors from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This year, 92 school leaders and advisors from India and other countries around the world participated, including Nepal, Moscow, Saudi Arabia, America, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Singapore.
