Career Advisory Session at GDC Ramban
The Career and Psychological Counseling Units of Government Degree College, Ramban, today organized a career counseling session for students under the auspices of the rector of the college, Prof. Subhash Chander Sharma, attended by up to 80 students, including outgoing 6th semester students attend the counseling session. On this occasion, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Chair of the Careers Advice Bureau, said both the public and private sectors have many employment opportunities for them.
Students who excel academically and personally can find acceptable employment in the job markets. Prof. Bal Krishan, the convener of the psychological counseling cell, shared his insights and stressed the importance of soft skills, training and personal growth as an essential component of education for finding or creating jobs related to changing career alternatives.
Prof. Younis Ahmed Rathor also gave a motivational speech on this occasion. In order to succeed in life, speakers advised students to pursue intellectualism and instill excellent values. During an interactive session, the students asked many questions about their possible career paths and personal problems. The teachers gave them answers to their questions that satisfied them as much as possible.
