Anthony Richardson Advisor Manning Passing Academy

Manning Passing Academy will have Anthony Richardson from Florida as camp counselor this summer.

The event will be hosted by Nicholls State University in Louisiana June 23-26. Richardson will work with Archie, Eli and Peyton Manning at her event to help young quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends hone their skills. The other recently announced advisors are Houston senior Clayton Tune, Miami student Tyler Van Dyke and Vanderbilt junior Mike Wright.

Dozens of other quarterbacks from across the country attend the event, including 11 from SEC programs. Actually only maroon and Missouri are not represented at the event.

It’s not the first time Richardson has tried to give back to the football community, and it’s one of the things that makes him a leader in Florida’s locker room. It’s also a pretty good opportunity to meet some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the past two decades.

Richardson is expected to be the starter for the Gators this fall after Emory Jones went through the transfer portal and beat Jack Miller in the spring. If the orange-blue game is any indication, Richardson is clearly the guy in 2023.

After returning from Manning Passing Academy, Richardson and co. have just over two months to prepare for the season opener against Utah in Gainesville.
