Action Mental Health’s Big Big Purple Picnic for Mental Health Awareness Week

Dear editor,

We would like to update your readership about Action Mental Health‘s Great Big Purple Picnic fundraiser, taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week, May 9-15, 2022.

One in five of us will have a mental health problem at some point in our lives and half of all problems start before the age of 14. Here at Action Mental Health, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of people living with a mental health issue while also promoting resilience and well-being for people of all ages.

The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘Combating Loneliness’. Having a Great Big Purple picnic and going out with friends and family is a really positive way to combat loneliness.

We’re also pleased to be proud to be supported by the Henderson Group this year, and as part of that support, every school enrollment is automatically entered into our free prize draw to win one of six Henderson Group Great Big Purple Picnic Packs (one per county). The drawing will take place before May 1st, 2022 and winning schools will be contacted to arrange collection or delivery of their prize.

Some great fun ideas and materials are also available in our resource pack, which will be emailed to you upon registration. So if you are interested in taking part, please register by emailing [email protected]
